n the embrace of Kočevje forests and on the edge of the primeval forest, where Obrščica spring whispers its secrets, is located Berryshka – a distillery and chocolate factory, small but extremely fragrant and delicious stopover for curious taste explorers. The history of the distillery dates back to 1950 in the small town of Obrh near Dolenjske Toplice. For many years, the locals have been collecting forest fruits and creating delicious delicacies from them, and in their production they also used the very important water source of the Obrščica.
A visit to the Berryshka distillery and chocolate factory is a great idea for couples, families and larger groups. For those of you wondering where to go on a trip, you won't go wrong in winter if you choose Dolenjske Toplice for your visit, and then extend your journey in the direction of Dolenjske Toplice - Obrh (2 minutes). The guided tour lasts approximately 45 minutes. As part of the tour, they present their history, family vision and products, take you around the entire facility and show you the production facilities, and to top it off, you also visit the chocolate factory, where you can watch the chocolate masters at work. The tour costs €10 per person, and children under 10 years of age enter for free. For groups larger than 12 people, after prior reservation, they are happy to open their doors at any time and adapt the offer to your wishes.
